Fashion Designers in Delhi

Fashion Designers in Delhi

Embroidery, zardozi, beadings, silk, velvet ... Oh, the colours, designs!  Before you start wondering what's with the details, am so overwhelmed at the Vibrant options that are available to choose from when talking about Designers.  Writing about the fashion designers of the capital city and not mentioning anything about their wedding couture would be sinful! Right? Well, almost.  Talk about weddings and there is a huge list of Occassions that a bride needs her wardrobe ready for like, mehendi, Haldi etc.,

Let's have a look at the creators of this fashion aka the Fashion designers of Delhi then.

Sabyasachi Mukherjee:  Sabyasachi Mukherjee, is originally from an eastern city Maniktala, in Kolkata.   Sabyasachi bridal lehengas are like masterpieces only there are new collections every season.  Get a great makeup artist and buy a Sabyasachi lehenga and the main preparation for the wedding is done! Now, I must say this is a dream come true of every bride. If you have watched the Anushka and Virat wedding then the floral Pink lehenga with renaissance embroidery with the embellishment of pearls and beads made her look like a dream.  This lehenga would have easily cost between a whopping 25 - 30 lakhs.  But a simpler Sabyasachi lehenga costs anywhere between 1 - 3 lakhs.  She paired it with some awesome traditional jewellery to go with it, also a Sabyasachi creation, layered necklaces in pearls and pink spinel.  Look at the fabulous collection: https://www.sabyasachi.com/

Anita Dongre:  Anita Dongre, from Mumbai who has western wear and Boho Chic collections that are under the  Label - "House of Anita Dongre". The wedding couture is a burst of colours ranging from fuschia pink to emerald green and gold, has a lot of rich Rajasthani designs like handcrafted gotta patti and Benarasi to offer. You might want to look at Neha Dhupia's wedding lehenga if yours is a summer wedding.  Neha's was a pink handcrafted embroidered with floral motifs, gotta patti, zardozi, and sequin work.  The organza dupatta made the pink lehenga look even more beautiful.  It was a perfect ensemble for a summer wedding.  The pink lehenga was paired with some beautiful maang tikka, polki choker, and earrings - all a collection from Anita Dongre designs.  The wedding lehengas start from one lakh and can be paired with some exquisite jewellery collection to go with it.
